5 Most Expensive Albums from RSD 2015

This year felt different. Maybe it was all the wide-spread media coverage from mainstream outlets that contributed to longer lines and the Walmart overnight camp outs in parking lots but the number of collectors and Record Store Day freshman was an encouraging surprise. Leading up to the event, the amount of positive, negative and indifference toward what is supposed to be a day for celebrating music and vinyl clogged the internet. Now that it’s all over, here’s a recap including the 5 Most Expensive Albums from RSD 2015 and some historical data from 2014.

Update: It’s unclear wether or not the Red House Painters boxset was to be a Record Store Day 2015 release or not as sources are inconsistent. We’re gonna leave it in our results because – for now.
